We are doing some work in our downstairs of our house. There have been people in and out of the house. And the boys love talking to all these worker guys. Especially Jack, who is almost four.
The heating guy came about halfway up the stairs to say he was leaving for lunch. Heating guy and Jack had a conversation that went something like this.
Jack: "Are you going to have macaroni for lunch?"
Heating guy: (laughs) "Macaroni? Is that what you are going to have?"
Jack: "Spaghetti".
Heating guy: "That sounds good." Then to me says, "I'll be back in a bit." And starts walking back down the stairs.
Jack: (in a loud voice) "Butt cheek!"
I tried to sternly tell Jack no but couldn't stifle my giggles. He is going to keep us on our toes, no doubt. One conversation at a time.
