We decided to make an impromptu ice fish trip to Lake Darling. And it ended up that we caught our dinner. 1 northern pike and 7 perch, of which we released 2 back into the water as they were wee little things. Still enough food for our little family of 4. Our preferred method of preparation is grilling with just a few spices. And right before eating, tons of lemon.
